“Naqi” signs an agreement to purchase 230,000 laying chicks within the poultry project in Qassim


Yesterday, Naqi Water Company signed an agreement to purchase vital assets (white sauce) with Umm Al Bayad Al Khaleeji Agricultural Company.

The company said in a statement on the Saudi Tadawul website, that the agreement comes within the stages of the executive plan for the poultry sector project in the Qassim region.

It added that this step comes to enhance production and make full use of the breeding facilities and achieve the project’s operational and strategic objectives.

She explained that in line with Naqi Water Company’s expansion strategy and diversifying sources of income, In continuation of the previously announced implementation phases of the poultry sector project, which is wholly owned by the company, the company signed a contract to purchase (230,000) High Line layer chicks, representing the second phase of the project’s vital supply plan, within the framework of the project’s ongoing implementation work.

This step aims to provide the necessary flocks to begin the breeding cycle and reach commercial production immediately after the completion of construction and operational work, as the production capacity represented by this agreement represents more than 60 million eggs annually, thus The production capacity reaches approximately 120 million eggs annually, which constitutes 4 times the production capacity upon acquisition of the project.

The value of the deal amounts to 908.5 thousand riyals, and is self-financed by the company without the need for any external financing, while targeting the production of table eggs.

It is expected that the financial impact of this stage will begin to appear during the second half of 2026 AD.
