Putin: We continue to work with allies to enhance the defense capabilities of the Security Treaty Organization

Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that his country will continue to work closely with its allies to enhance the defense capabilities of the CSTO.
Putin said during his participation in the expanded meeting of the CSTO summit in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, according to the Russian news agency “Sputnik”, that the CSTO is the reliable guarantor of security and stability in space. Eurasian, proposing to launch a large-scale program to supply the joint forces with modern Russian weapons and equipment, which have proven their effectiveness in real military operations.
Putin proposed starting to prepare a new strategy to combat terrorism within the framework of the CSTO, noting that Russia will continue to work with its partners in the CSTO to uncover terrorist cells and cut off their financing channels.
Putin explained that the next summit of the CSTO The Collective Security Treaty will be held in November next year in Moscow, under the slogan “Collective Security in a Multipolar World.”
