An interactive platform for the Emirates Falcons Federation in "Al Ain Hunting Exhibition"
Al Ain, November 28 / WAM / The Emirates Falcons Federation, during its participation in the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, presents introductory and interactive content, to highlight the country’s efforts in developing falconry competitions, in line with sustainability practices, and to consolidate the UAE’s global position in heritage sports that embody the values of national identity.
The exhibition is an important opportunity for the Federation to interact directly with visitors and heritage lovers, introduce them to the history of this authentic sport and its role in the national identity, and review various initiatives and programmes, to ensure the continuity and sustainability of this heritage for future generations.
His Excellency Rashid bin Markhan, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falcons Federation and the International Falcon Sports and Racing Federation, stressed that the federation’s participation in the exhibition embodies its continued commitment to spreading the culture of falconry and strengthening the connection of new generations with the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in practicing falconry and preserving this ancient heritage.
He pointed out that the federation’s participation came under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, President of the International Federation for Falcon Sports and Racing, President of the Emirates Falcons Federation, and the follow-up of His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice President of the International Federation for Falcon Sports and Racing, Vice President of the Emirates Falcons Federation.
