After Al-Masry’s victory and before the Zamalek match…the fourth group standings in the Confederation

The Al-Masry team of Port Said maintained its top spot in the fourth group standings in the African Confederation Championship, after defeating its counterpart ZESCO Zami by three goals to two. 

Al-Masry is located in the fourth group, which includes Zambian ZESCO, Zamalek and South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs, who will meet tomorrow, Saturday, in the second round of the group stage.

The Al-Masry team from Port Said achieved an exciting victory over its Zambian counterpart ZESCO United by three goals to two in the match that was held between them today in the second round of the group stage matches. For the twenty-third edition of the African Confederation Championship.

 

Mohamed Hashem advanced for the Al-Masry team in the 4th minute from a corner kick by Hassan Ali from the right side. He executed it with a cross into the penalty area. Munther Tamin met it with a header that was returned by the goalkeeper, and Mohamed Hashem followed it up with a shot that went into the goal.

The equalizing goal for Zesco came from Freddy Michael Kwaplan in the minute. 6.

A quarter of an hour into the match, a shot came from Zesco player Freddy Michael Coplan from inside the penalty area, and Mahmoud Hamdy, the Al-Masry goalkeeper, caught it from the middle of his own goal.

And from a fatal error by a Zesco defender in passing the ball  The ball reached Munther Tamin, who was alone in the goal, and he shot a low ball that landed in the middle of the goal in the 24th minute.

 

In the 68th minute of the second half, Abdel Rahim Daghmoum succeeded in scoring the third goal for the Al-Masry team, and Zesco’s second goal came in the 87th minute through Peter Miskouma.
