Israeli occupation forces arrest 5 Palestinians in Qalqilya and continue their aggression against Tubas

The Israeli occupation forces arrested, at dawn on Saturday, five Palestinian citizens, including two children and a woman, from the Qalqilya Governorate, northwest of the West Bank.

 

Palestinian sources explained that the occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya from its eastern entrance, deployed in the “Kafr Saba” neighborhood, and arrested two children and a young man, after raiding homes. Their families, searched it, and tampered with its contents.

 

She added that the occupation forces stormed the village of Baqat al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya, from its main entrance, and spread out in the western neighborhood and the Bayader area, and carried out a massive raid on a number of homes, and arrested a woman and a young man, after raiding and searching their homes.

 

And in the northern West Bank. Western, the Israeli occupation forces continue their military aggression against Tubas Governorate, for the fourth day in a row.

Local sources indicated that the occupation army continues to storm the city of Tubas and the town of Aqaba to the north, and the village of Tayasir to the east of the city, after its withdrawal from the town of Tamoun, at dawn yesterday, and Al-Far’a camp last night.

The director of the Prisoner’s Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said, The occupation army detained 29 young men in Al-Faraa camp, and they were later released, with the exception of the young man Adham Muhammad Al-Aidi.

 

Last night witnessed a major raid on citizens’ homes in the city of Tubas, and some of them were used as military barracks.

 

Since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the governorate, medical teams have dealt with more than 166 cases of assault and beating, about 60 of which were transferred to the hospital to receive treatment, while the Prisoner’s Club recorded about 200 cases of detention, most of whom the occupation released earlier.

In conjunction with the continuation of the military aggression, the occupation continues to impose a curfew in the governorate.
