The Arab artist revived Mohamed Abdo An exceptional evening of music at the “Mohammed Abdo Arena” theater as part of the activities of the sixth Riyadh season, in a ceremony that was fully attended early after the tickets ran out, sponsored by General Entertainment Authoritysupervised and supported by Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, and organized by the Rotana Music Group.
The evening constituted one of the most prominent nights of the season, with its high level of artistic and organizational preparation, bringing together authentic singing and the global vision that characterizes the Riyadh SeasonTurki Al Sheikhfor young talents, and confirmed behind the scenes that he is working on preparing new works with Rotana that will be released soon.
Diverse works
Muhammad Abdo expressed his appreciation to the Riyadh audience, stressing that his success extending over six decades came as a result of his commitment to presenting diverse works honestly and sincerely, explaining: What I have achieved is God’s grace and the result of long effort, and what I have sown for sixty years I reap today with the love of the public.
He also stressed his great pride in the city of Riyadh and its special status in it, pointing out that meeting the public is the greatest motivation for its continuation and brilliance throughout these years.
The Arab artist expressed his pride in his son Abdul Rahman, who recently collaborated with him as a composer in the song “I Came and Came,” revealing that he studied at the Conservatoire in France for four months, and became a skilled piano player, anticipating a distinguished artistic future for him.
New work
He also talked about his new work. "The healer" From the words of Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser, composed by Ahmed Al Harmi, and arranged by Walid Fayed, confirming that the audience will listen to it soon.
The ceremony took place in two parts: The first paragraph began with a song "Riyadh"Then followed a group of Muhammad Abduh’s works that the audience was associated with, including : A song of rain, those nights, the ember of the rain, the ashes of the lamps, there is no need, before concluding this paragraph with the song «My heart was bitter on the day» Large reaction medium.
As for the second paragraph, it began with a song "A date with loved ones"Then the Arab artist continued to present his masterpieces that formed part of the memory of modern Arab singing, through works such as : Amazing, the places, we disagreed, I told him the news, and he concluded the evening with a song "It’s not early anymore" Which the audience repeated with him until the last moments, in a scene that reflected the strength of the presence and the influence of Muhammad Abdo’s voice over the decades.
With the great public success of the evening, the Riyadh Season administration announced the holding of a second concert for the Arab artist entitled «Muhammad Abdo’s popular session» Next December 5, in continuation of Muhammad Abdo’s renewed presence in the season, and consolidating his position as one of the most prominent symbols of Arab singing.
