Khor Fakkan gave everything it had… and Al-Wahda took advantage of moments of control and qualified

Khorfakkan coach, Hassan Al-Abdouli, confirmed that his team gave everything it had against Al-Wahda, praising the great effort made by the players despite the 1-2 loss in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the League Cup competition (2-2 first leg).

Al-Abdouli said in the press conference after the match: “The players made a great effort and none of them spared any effort. We tried to manage the match in certain periods, and we actually succeeded in controlling the rhythm of the game in some moments.”

He added: “But it is also normal when a team like Al-Wahda dominates periods of the match, as it is a strong team and not to be underestimated. They succeeded in imposing their control, and were able to score two goals taking advantage of those moments.”
