Arab Shooting Federation: Abu Dhabi International Shotgun is a qualitative station for developing the game

Al Ain, December 1, 2017 – Major General Hazem Hosni, President of the Egyptian and African Federations, First Vice President of the Arab Federation, and Member of the Board of Directors of the International Shooting Federation, confirmed that the Abu Dhabi International Shooting Championship is a qualitative beginning for upcoming championships in the UAE, thanks to its modern facilities and great capabilities at all organizational levels.

Hosni explained in a statement today on the occasion of the launch of the tournament at Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, that hosting the tournament is considered a great success for shooting in the Arab countries, with the participation of more than 300 male and female shooters, representing more than 30 countries, with their advanced levels.

He pointed to the great interest in the tournament and the keenness of Jean-François Palinkas, President of the International Federation of Sport Shooting, to attend the events, in addition to the tangible efforts of Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Neyadi, Director General of the Weapons and Dangerous Materials Office, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Championship, and to follow up on all the details of the competitions, and provide all requirements for its success and distinction.

Hosni added that shooting sports has a long foundation and history in the UAE, with great support and interest from all levels, which represents a basis for excellence in organizing and hosting various sporting events.
