Etihad Airways launches a short film on board its aircraft to celebrate Federation Day
Abu Dhabi, December 2, 2017 – Etihad Airways launched a short film commemorating the country’s journey of growth and innovation, in celebration of the 54th Etihad Day.
According to a press release issued by the carrier, the story embodies the development process of the UAE, and the pivotal role that Etihad Airways plays in achieving the vision of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul.
Dr. Nadia Bastaki, Chief Human Resources, Government and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, said: This film is a tribute to the values instilled by Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, and whose vision for the UAE and the world continues to inspire Etihad Airways.
She added: “We strive to connect peoples, cultures and societies, while contributing to the growth of our nation, and it is an honor for us to celebrate Union Day through this visual display that embodies the country’s past, present and future.”
In celebration of the 54th Etihad Day, Etihad Airways has designed a special, limited-edition handbag, which will be presented to guests on board, as a specially designed souvenir for all Etihad passengers traveling from Abu Dhabi.
