AMRIC signs three memorandums of understanding with the Arab Organization for Industrialization in Egypt

The Advanced Military Center for Maintenance, Repair and Umrah (AMROC) signed three strategic memorandums of understanding with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, represented by its most prominent industrial facilities in Egypt, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the industrial and technical fields, developing capabilities in the fields of aircraft components, structures and systems, manufacturing and processing engine parts, and supporting helicopter systems.

The signing of these three memorandums came within the framework of AMMROC’s participation, within the national pavilion of the UAE, in the fourth edition of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025”, which will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center “EDEX 2025”, during the period from 1 to 4 December, with the participation of major international companies in the fields of armament, defense and security industries. The pavilion’s participation comes with the support of the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.

The agreements were signed in the Egyptian pavilion participating in the exhibition, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Hamid Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment, and Mahmoud Al Hai Al Hameli, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airlines Group, while the agreement was signed by Jassim Al Marzouqi, CEO of AMMROC, and Major General A.H. Mukhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

The signing of the memorandums of understanding comes within the framework of AMMROC’s efforts to expand its industrial partnerships and enhance technical cooperation in the fields of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, in a way that supports operational readiness and enhances integration between the two sides in the defense aviation sector.

During its participation in IDEX Egypt, AMMROC will display models of F-16 and C-130 aircraft for which it provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services, in addition to meeting with its partners and visitors to the exhibition in Hall (3), to introduce its advanced technical capabilities and discuss opportunities for joint cooperation.

AMMROC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Aircraft Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, with the aim of establishing a strategic framework for cooperation in the manufacture, development, marketing and sale of parts, components, structures and systems for fixed-wing aircraft, jet aircraft and drones, in addition to harmonizing the capabilities of production lines with AMMRIC programmes, establishing manufacturing cells or production lines dedicated to serving AMMRIC programmes, and enhancing inspection and testing work according to the highest standards. The memorandum also includes cooperation in transferring knowledge and technical training and preparing joint offers to meet the growing demand for components in regional and international markets.

AMMROC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Engine Factory and Digital Manufacturing Center, with the aim of developing strategic cooperation and industrial, operational and marketing integration in the field of engine overhaul, repair, manufacturing, processing and supply of their parts and components, and benefiting from the advanced capabilities of digital manufacturing.

The memorandum includes implementing specific repair and overhaul works, manufacturing and supplying engine parts and components such as moving and fixed parts, pods, structures, columns, etc., in addition to cooperating in developing and applying thermal and surface treatments and technical coatings necessary for some engine parts, and supporting their supply chains. It also includes joint technical training programs, developing the operational life of components, implementing precision manufacturing, operation and processing work, in addition to studies to expand the factory’s role in supporting engine programs associated with “Amruk”.

AMMROC also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Helwan Advanced Industries Factory to support the development of helicopter maintenance capabilities. The memorandum includes cooperation in maintenance, repair and overhaul programs for helicopter components and systems, and contributing to the manufacture or modification of selected parts for the operational platforms managed by AMMROC. It also includes developing modernization and upgrade programmes, structural works, covers and installation systems, identifying priority models, establishing production lines or specialized workshops, in addition to mutual training and knowledge transfer programmes, and studying opportunities to implement joint projects in regional markets.

Dr. Nasser Al Nuaimi said: These agreements represent an advanced step in the path of industrial integration, and reflect the UAE’s commitment to strengthening defense cooperation with our strategic partners, most notably the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it looks to them as a basis for building advanced self-capabilities based on knowledge and modern technology, and as a support for developing a defense structure capable of achieving high operational readiness and enhancing supply chains in a way that supports our future ambitions.

For his part, Mahmoud Al-Hay Al-Hameli, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airlines Group, said that these agreements are considered a new strategic step towards expanding our regional partnerships, especially in the Egyptian market, due to its promising capabilities and capabilities, to be integrated with the expertise that we provide and our infrastructure to establish a long-term partnership, and support our continuing efforts to develop our services within the AMERIC operations system in the UAE.

For his part, Jassim Al Marzouqi, CEO of AMMROC, said: Our participation in EDEX 2025 reflects AMMROC’s commitment to expanding its effective regional presence and strengthening its international partnerships in the military aviation sector, by showcasing our advanced system of maintenance, repair and overhaul services that supports the readiness of aircraft fleets in the region. The signing of three strategic memorandums of understanding with the Arab Organization for Industrialization supports our orientations towards integrating plans with our partners in Egypt to develop industrial capabilities, transfer knowledge, and expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of aviation and defense.
