The signing of the three memorandums with the Authority’s “Aircraft Factory”, the “Engines Factory and the Digital Manufacturing Center”, and the “Helwan Advanced Industries Factory” came within the framework of AMROC’s participation within the national pavilion of the UAE, in the International Defense Industries Exhibition (EDEX 2025) in its fourth edition, which is held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center from the first to the fourth of this December, with the participation of major international companies in the fields of armament, defense and security industries.

The signing of the memorandums of understanding comes within the framework of AMMROC’s efforts to expand its industrial partnerships and enhance technical cooperation in the fields of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, in a way that supports operational readiness and enhances integration between the two sides in the defense aviation sector.

During its participation in EDEX Egypt, AMMROC displays models of F-16 and C-130 aircraft for which maintenance, repair and overhaul services are provided, in addition to meeting with its partners and visitors to the exhibition, to introduce its advanced technical capabilities and discuss opportunities for joint cooperation. The agreements were signed in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council, Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, and the CEO of Abu Dhabi Airlines Group, Mahmoud Al Hai Al Hameli, while the CEO of AMMROC, Jassim Al Marzouqi, and the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Major General Mukhtar Abdul Latif, signed the agreement.

Al Nuaimi said: “These agreements represent an advanced step in the path of industrial integration, and reflect the UAE’s commitment to strengthening defense cooperation with our strategic partners, most notably Egypt, as it looks to them as a basis for building advanced self-capabilities that rely on knowledge and modern technology. They are considered supportive of developing a defense structure capable of achieving high operational readiness and strengthening supply chains to support our future ambitions.”

For his part, Al Hameli said, “These agreements are considered a new strategic step towards expanding our regional partnerships, especially in the Egyptian market, due to its promising potential and capabilities, to complement our expertise that we provide and our infrastructure to establish a long-term partnership, and support our ongoing efforts to develop our services within the (AMROC) operations system in the UAE.”

In turn, Al Marzouqi said: “Our participation in EDEX 2025 reflects AMMROC’s commitment to expanding its effective regional presence and strengthening its international partnerships in the military aviation sector, by showcasing our advanced system of maintenance, repair and overhaul services that supports the readiness of aircraft fleets in the region.”
