Convening the Saudi Investment Forum helped The first Bahraini, in the presence of more than 400 participants from government and private sector institutions in the two brotherly countries, aimed at strengthening economic relations, expanding the horizons of joint cooperation, presenting promising investment opportunities, and exchanging experiences between the two sides, which contributed to advancing economic development between the two brotherly countries.

The King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City project in the Kingdom of Bahrain embodies the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and reflects the commitment of their leadership to support strategic initiatives in the health and education sectors, as land with an area of one million square meters was allocated to implement the project, with a total financing of 1.2 billion Saudi riyals, provided by the Saudi Fund for Development.
The establishment of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council contributed to deepening and developing bilateral cooperation and joint work between the two countries, where initiatives are based The Council refers to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which aim to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership of the two countries – may God protect them – and achieve the interests of their brotherly peoples, and are subject to effective governance mechanisms to follow up on their implementation.

The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 provide great opportunities to enhance cooperation and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, as the two visions share common goals that have effectively contributed to The two countries achieved advanced positions in various international indicators.
The volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed remarkable growth in the year 2024, exceeding 48 billion Saudi riyals, and the two brotherly countries seek to strengthen trade and economic relations between them, raise the level of trade exchange, facilitate mutual investment procedures, and work to grow and develop them and reach broader horizons.
The agreements and memorandums of understanding scheduled to be signed will contribute to the conclusion of the work of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which It includes areas of: avoiding double taxation, cooperation in the areas of encouraging direct investment, cooperation in the field of sustainable development, as well as cooperation in the field of protecting competition, in developing joint cooperation, and deepening Saudi-Bahraini relations in the areas related to those agreements and memorandums of understanding, especially in the fields of development, investment, and international trade*.
