Schubert calms Kuwait’s anger and praises the humanitarian gesture from Egypt’s players

The journalist Ahmed Schubert called on the brothers in the State of Kuwait to overcome the state of anger sparked by the statements of Captain Helmy Tolan, the coach of the second Egyptian national football team, after he described the confrontation between Egypt and Kuwait as being one-sided.
Schubert confirmed during his radio program with Schubert on Radio On Sport FM today, Wednesday, that what Tolan said comes within the framework of the technical vision only, stressing his great appreciation for the performance of the Kuwaiti team, which presented the match. Strong and came close to scoring a second goal had it not been for the brilliance of Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam.
Schobert pointed out that the result of the match was not fair compared to what the two teams presented on the field, considering that the offensive performance of the national team and the opportunities achieved deserved a better result.
Schobert also praised the fine humanitarian gesture of the Egyptian national team players by lifting Ahmed Refaat’s shirt before the start of the match, recalling the memory of the goal that Refaat scored against the Sudan national team during its participation in the Arab Cup tournament, which was the moment. Which is still present to the fans.
Schubert stressed that the fraternal ties between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples are solid and go beyond any passing disagreement, calling on football fans to focus on the sportsmanship that brought the two teams together on the field.
