This achievement was revealed during the International Non-Profit Sector Forum held in Riyadh, where the ceremony witnessed the presence of an official representative from Guinness; Who announced the approval of the record after the number of simultaneous viewers of a voluntary lesson broadcast by the center on the YouTube platform reached On December 2, 2,135 live viewers at the same moment, which is the highest global number recorded in this field.
The Guinness World Records representative handed over the official certificate to the CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, Ahmed Al-Suwailem. Confirming the adoption of this record in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This achievement was confirmed by the Kingdom’s entry into the Guinness Book of World Records in the field of volunteer education, through the programs of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, which reflects the Kingdom’s growing role in consolidating and organizing the culture of volunteer work, and transforming community enthusiasm into cognitive energy based on training and empowerment, which contributes to raising the skills of volunteers and enhancing their impact in community service..
This number is an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to support the non-profit sector and volunteer work as two basic pillars for achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, by increasing the number of volunteers, expanding areas of volunteer work, and developing innovative educational programs that meet the aspirations of young people and enhance their active participation in national initiatives.
