"Increase health awareness".. The logo of the new issue of the Ministry of Awqaf magazine

The Ministry of Endowments issued the second issue – December – for the “second” year. From “Weqaya” magazine To highlight the importance of preserving the blessing of health, within the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance societal awareness and consolidate human-building values, under the leadership of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments.

This step comes in the context of the ministry’s vision that is consistent with the Egyptian state’s orientations towards human development and its intellectual and behavioral renaissance. To become more aware and productive, and to be broad-minded, belonging to his country, and participating in achieving good for humanity.

 

In the editorial of the issue, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, confirmed that health is one of the blessings that God Almighty has bestowed upon man, and there is no doubt that man is required to preserve it by all means and methods, whether preventive or curative, and the direct path in all of this is health of thought. And awareness.

 

He pointed out that from this standpoint, the current issue of “Weqaya” magazine came, supported by important articles, topics and reports by officials, thinkers and specialists, to alert to the necessity of preserving the blessing of health.

 

The magazine also conducted a special dialogue with Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population; To talk about the reality of the health system in Egypt, its challenges, its development plans, and the Ministry’s vision for the future of health care, the Minister opened pivotal files to present, through this dialogue, a clear picture of what is being achieved on the ground, and what the state is targeting during the coming period to build a stronger and more sustainable health system.

 

The issue also included a group of specialized articles to highlight the importance of the issue of health awareness, the most important of which is: An article by His Eminence Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, under the title “Preserving health is a religious obligation.”

 

And an article by Dr. Abdel Nasser Sinjab, Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Education Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, under the title “Alternative Medicine… When Illusion Turns into a Danger to the Health of Society.”

 

It included an article by Dr. Sahar Khairy, Dean of the National Institute for Nutrition, under the title “Preventing malnutrition diseases”.

 

The magazine devoted a special file to the “Secretariat of Health”. Through it, it discussed how to achieve balanced nutrition for children and the importance of psychological balance in the process of recovering from diseases, through a group of experts specialized in the field of nutrition and public health.

 

The issue highlighted the testimony of the World Health Organization, for the advancement of the health system in Egypt over the past years, through cooperation between the organization and the Ministry of Health in many health projects that work to improve the health of Egyptians.

 

The magazine also highlighted The efforts made by several parties to improve the health of citizens, most notably the Ministry of Health and the efforts it has provided during the last period to care for the health of citizens, most notably the implementation of various presidential initiatives, which numbered 15 initiatives that provided more than (260) million health services throughout the Republic.

 

It also highlighted the efforts of the Ministry of the Environment in the health field through the Air and Water Monitoring and Waste Management Organization, in addition to the Ministry’s efforts to confront “rice straw burning.” And its impact on the environment, in addition to the efforts of the Ministry of Youth and Sports through comprehensive support for the health of athletes and the promotion of community fitness, in addition to the efforts of the Ministry of Communications in mechanizing health services in various hospitals.

 

The magazine chose Dr. «Magdy Yacoub» To be the character of the issue by highlighting his humanitarian career and unique achievements, in the field of heart surgery, over the past years, in a special tribute to an Egyptian personality, who provided many humanitarian achievements and medical services to Egyptians.

 

The magazine invited its readers to share their experiences in spreading awareness in their surroundings, and concluded “Weqaya” It includes five recommendations to raise awareness among citizens  The necessity of maintaining the blessing of health.
