"Saed Association" Celebrates the 54th Union Day
Abu Dhabi, December 5 / WAM / On the occasion of the country’s 54th Union Day, the Saaed Association for Reducing Traffic Accidents organized a national event under the slogan “We are all Emirates”, in the presence of members of the Association’s Board of Directors and representatives of entities and strategic partners.
The ceremony began with the playing of the state’s national anthem by the police music band, followed by an opening speech that emphasized the profound values of this national occasion, while the celebration program included a short video showing the association’s efforts and initiatives in enhancing traffic awareness in cooperation with its partners from various entities.
The event witnessed heritage and artistic segments, and the first artistic segment was a poem presented by the student Zayed Al Taniji, the youngest content creator to receive an honorary doctorate in media and community creativity. A group of children, friends of the association, participated in the artistic segments, adding a festive atmosphere that reflects the authenticity of the Emirati identity and the spirit of the union.
During the ceremony, strategic partners were also honored in appreciation of their role in supporting the association’s initiatives and supporting its efforts to reduce traffic accidents and spread a culture of safety.
His Excellency Jamal Al Ameri, Director General of the Saaed Association for Reducing Traffic Accidents, in his speech during the ceremony, expressed his happiness with this national celebration that is dear to everyone’s hearts, as the spirit of unity and pride is evident on the occasion of the country’s 54th Union Day, an occasion that brings to mind a story of glory and a dream that turned into a reality created by our founding fathers under the leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.
He added, “We meet today to celebrate together on the land of the Union, where the vision was united and ambitions were mixed, so that the UAE became a global model for construction, achievement and sustainable development, and a center for innovation, security, peace and tolerance.”
Al-Amiri pointed out that the Saed Association, since its establishment, has continued its national mission by promoting the culture of traffic safety, protecting lives, and supporting government efforts to improve the quality of life, stressing that road security is an integral part of the nation’s security.
He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the strategic partners and supporting entities, noting that their continued cooperation and sincere contributions are the cornerstone of achieving the association’s goals and spreading traffic awareness.
