المملكة: Awarding medals of excellence to the most generous scouting units during the Hajj season


Crowned Scouting Association Saudi Arabia praised the efforts of its distinguished field units in the Hajj season of 1446 AH, during an official ceremony in Riyadh, appreciating the heroic role of scouts in serving the guests of God, and stressing that this honor embodies the appreciation of the national system for dedication to volunteer work.

The theater of the Technical College in Riyadh witnessed The celebration ceremony, which was attended by the Vice President of the Association and the General Supervisor of the Camps, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mudayris, in the presence of a high-ranking leader, to bring down the curtain on an exceptional season of Scouting giving in the Holy Sites.

The ceremony reviewed through a visual documentary, live scenes from the field that documented the journey of sacrifice made by Scout members, highlighting the qualitative initiatives that enhanced the flow of services provided to pilgrims and left a direct positive impact on their faith experience.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Mudayres linked this honor to International Volunteer Day, considering that the coincidence of the two events gives the occasion a strategic dimension that confirms the depth of the Saudi experience in humanitarian work, and the establishment of Scouting as an luminous national model for more than a century.

He praised Al-Mudayres The generous and continuous support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince to the Scouting sector, stressing that the successes achieved in the 1446 AH season are a direct result of the leadership’s interest in developing the system of serving pilgrims and enabling volunteer work.

He pointed out that the integration between the Scouting sectors and success partners was the decisive factor in achieving the goals of the season, as the theoretical plans turned into a tangible reality that reduced the burden on the pilgrims and contributed to facilitating the performance of their rituals.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of plaques of appreciation to the units that achieved the highest standards of performance and excellence, in addition to honoring the College of Technology in Riyadh for its effective partnership and hosting of this national event, which enhances the spirit of positive competition for the coming seasons.
