Al Ain displays and displays the “Victory” sign in the Professional Cup

Al Ain put one foot forward in the final match of the Professional Football League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup) after defeating Al Nasr 3-0, today, Friday, at Al Maktoum Stadium, in the first leg of the semi-final.

Moroccan Sofiane Rahimi opened the scoring for Al-Zaeem after a magic touch from Kodjo Laba, which put him in a difficult place for goalkeeper Ahmed Chambé (49).
Kodjo Laba increased his team’s lead by adding the second goal from a penalty kick, which he missed the first time before the VAR intervened and restarted the game after the Al-Nasr goalkeeper advanced from his goal before the Al-Ain striker shot “67”.
Al-Nasr then surrendered to the loss until Rafael Rodriguez, with a wonderful magic touch, was able to add the third and final goal for Al-Ain (75).
Al Ain deserved the result they got out of the match after controlling most of the first half amid a clear defensive decline from their opponent, but they lacked the final touch, before the French referee, François Letxer, intervened and showed two yellow cards to Al Nasr’s captain, Luka Milivojevic, in less than one minute due to objection, so Al Nassr continued the match from the 42nd minute, with 10 players.
In the second half, Al Ain found spaces open to them, and attacks and missed opportunities continued, which Kodjo Laba and Sufyan Rahimi continued to squander, wasting the opportunity to achieve a historic victory over Al Nasr.
