3 medals for the UAE women’s team in the Arab Modern Sailing Championship
Kuwait, December 5, WAM: The UAE women’s modern sailing team won three medals (one gold and two silver) in the second edition of the Arab Championship, which was hosted by the State of Kuwait during the period from 3 to 5 December.
Al-Yazia Al-Hammadi won the gold medal in the “ELCA 4” category, while Marwa Al-Hammadi won the silver medal in the same category at the overall level, and Doha Al-Bishr won the silver medal in the “ELCA 6” category.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, congratulated the female team players on this achievement, praising the preparation efforts and technical and administrative support provided to them.
He stressed that this female brilliance in the Arab Championship reflects the continuing development of modern sailing in the Emirates, and supports future ambitions to continue achieving outstanding results.
