Palestinian Authority: The humanitarian situation in Gaza has deteriorated as Israel continues to prevent the entry of aid

A member of the Palestinian Civil and National Action Authority, Ratiba Al-Natsheh, confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is deteriorating in light of Israel’s failure to adhere to the humanitarian protocol related to the ceasefire, and its procrastination in moving to the second phase of the agreement, which increases the suffering of the population with the onset of winter.
Al-Natsheh said – in a telephone interview with the Extra News channel – “Israel It refuses to bring in the tents and shelters necessary to shelter the displaced, and also slows down the process of bringing in relief materials and heavy equipment necessary to remove rubble and prepare the affected areas for the return of stability.
She added: “The entry of food is still very limited, in addition to severe rationing of the entry of medicines, while Israel continues to prevent a wide list of basic food and medicines, which leads to increasing humanitarian needs day after day.” Noting that there are major obstacles to efforts to remove rubble and bring in tents and caravans as a result of the continued siege.
Al-Natsheh stressed that the residents of the Gaza Strip have been suffering for a long time from bombing, malnutrition, and deprivation, pointing out that the extent of the humiliation experienced by the displaced in Gaza is “indescribable.”
