“Night of Champions” brings together the elite professional boxers in Dubai

Dubai will host exciting confrontations between the world’s elite professional boxers at the “Night of Champions” of the global event “IBA Pro 13”, next Friday, December 12, as part of the activities accompanying the World Elite Men’s Boxing Championship “UAE 2025”, which continues its activities at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Dubai, organized by the International Boxing Federation, with unprecedented financial prizes amounting to 8 million US dollars.

At the forefront is the confrontation for the World Boxing Association (WBA) world heavyweight title, which brings together Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev and Russian Murat Gassiev, as part of a group of equal and high-quality fights.

The fights include exciting confrontations designed to present an evening of high-level world boxing championships to fans around the world, the most prominent of which is the confrontation of Tajikistan’s Bakodor Osmonov, who has not known a loss, against Britain’s Maxie Hughes, in a fight for the World Boxing Association’s light heavyweight title.

Uzbek Shakhobidin Zoirov, winner of the 2016 Olympic gold medal, will face Venezuelan Yoel Fenol in a rematch for the World Boxing Association bantamweight title, after Fenol won by majority decision in their first meeting in December 2024.

Russian Khariton Agrba will meet Argentine Nery Muñoz, in a rematch in the super light weight division, after Muñoz’s surprising victory by knockout last July.

Russian Vadim Musaev will face South African Thulani Mbenge in a prominent welterweight bout.
Omar Kremlev, President of the International Boxing Federation, said: “The excitement and suspense will increase in Dubai with the holding of the night of professional fights, “Night of Champions,” and I am confident that the whole world will watch Gassiev’s fight against Pulev, as the competition for the world title is at stake. We expect amazing boxing and a competitive battle between two high-caliber opponents. Tonight will be held, for the first time, at the Boxing Festival in Dubai, and will go down in history alongside the Men’s World Boxing Championship competitions.”
