Hatta and Abu Dhabi clubs lead the Federation Athletics Cup competitions

Hatta, December 7 / WAM / The Hatta and Abu Dhabi clubs topped the Federation Athletics Cup competitions, by winning the general competitions for the men’s and women’s teams, in the tournament that was held yesterday in the Hatta region, with the participation of 311 male and female players from the country’s clubs.
The Athletics Federation confirmed in a statement today that the second championship of the current season was held in a festive atmosphere on the occasion of the 54th Federation Day, praising the efforts of the Hatta Club in organizing the competition, whose competitions included general categories for men and women, young men and women, junior men and women, and cubs for both categories, for distances of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 km.
The competitions resulted in Abu Salim Mayanja from Al Nasr Club winning first place in the All-Around Singles category, Ruqayya Mohammed Al Marzouqi from Abu Dhabi Club in the All-Women’s Individuals category, while the Kalba team topped the Youth Teams category, and Shala Gudita from Hatta Club won the individual title in this category.
Abu Dhabi Club also excelled by winning the youth team and individual titles in the same category through player Reem Abdel Salam, in addition to the junior team and individual titles through player Nasser Mohammed Al Kaabi.
The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club dominated the junior girls’ team title, and Solene Luan Drovi won the individual title in this category, while the boys’ teams category saw Abu Dhabi Club win the title, and Ali Maqbool Obaid took the lead in the singles, and the team title in the Girls’ Cubs went to the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, and the singles went to the player Hattie Elizabeth from the Abu Dhabi Club.
The winners were crowned by His Excellency Major General Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al Murr, President of the Federation, His Excellency Raul Chabado, Vice President of the International Federation, and Muhammad Abdel Nasser Al Khayyat, Vice Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors.
