The Egyptian Opera House begins its Christmas and New Year celebrations

The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, begins its Christmas and New Year celebrations, holding a concert for the Cairo Opera Band under the supervision of its Artistic Director, Imad Adel, with the participation of the Cairo Opera Orchestra, led by Maestro Mohamed Saad Pasha and accompanied by pianist Greg Martin, with the Cairo Opera Ballet Band, under the supervision of Artistic Director Armenia Kamel and directed by Hazem Tayel, at eight in the evening, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, on the stage. The program includes selections from international works that celebrate Christmas and the New Year, including Eva Maria, Silent Night, White Christmas, Ringing Bells, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, All I Hope for Christmas, 12 Days of Christmas, What a Holy Night, Spinning around the Christmas Tree and Do You Hear What I Hear.
The concert will be performed by artists Iman Mustafa, Tahiya Shams El Din, Imad Adel, Dalia Farouk, Julie Fayzy, Engy Mohsen, Hisham El Gendy, Elhamy Amin, Amr Medhat, Ezzat Ghanem, Amina Khairat, Norsta El Marghany, Laila Ibrahim, Tamer Tawfik, Mina Rafael, Burhan El Din Farouk, accompanied by dancing tableaus designed by Armenia.
The concert comes within the plans of the Ministry of Culture and the Opera House to celebrate various occasions through various programs. It includes all the colors of creativity, which reflects the keenness to provide artistic content befitting Egypt’s cultural status.
