"United Nations": Corruption undermines opportunities for education, jobs, and services and tears apart societies

The United Nations Regional Office on Drugs and Crime for the Middle East and North Africa confirmed that corruption undermines opportunities for education, jobs, and services and tears apart societies, noting that educating young people about integrity contributes to enabling them to make ethical decisions in their lives.
The office explained – in a statement; On the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, corresponding to December 9 of each year, forms of corruption include bribery, abuse of influence, abuse of power, and embezzlement.
He added that corruption affects everyone, but young people are the most affected; Because of the challenges they face in achieving equal opportunities, stressing that involving them in anti-corruption efforts in the public and private sectors would contribute to building a responsible future based on integrity.
