Without revealing details, Kiev sends a modified plan to end the war to Washington


Sent Kyiv to the United States amended plan to end War with Russia, and a senior Ukrainian official told AFP that Kiev had already sent a modified draft to the United States, without revealing details about its content.
Another Ukrainian official said that the plan takes into account Ukraine’s vision, and that it is an additional proposal for appropriate solutions to problematic issues.
The official added: "We will not reveal the details until we see the response from the American side"

Criticisms of the American plan

It was an initial American plan that included Ukraine giving up lands that Russia had not seized.
The plan was criticized by Kiev and the European allies as being favorable to Russia, which began invading Ukraine in February 2022.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that the plan had become divided into 3 documents, a 20-item framework agreement, and two documents. Separately: one on security guarantees and the other on Ukraine’s post-war recovery.

Ukraine reconstruction discussed

Earlier on Wednesday, Zelensky said he held a video meeting with Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink to discuss Ukraine’s recovery.
Zelensky said on the social media network: "It can be considered the first meeting of the group that will work on a document related to Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic recovery"
He added: "We have also updated our thoughts on the 20 provisions of the Framework Document to End the War. Comprehensive security will define economic security and establish a secure business environment.".
