"Dubai Culture" The fifth edition of "Hatta Cultural Nights" Within activities "#WinterHatta"

Dubai, 12 December / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority announced the start of preparations to organize the fifth edition of the “Hatta Cultural Nights”, which aims to provide a diverse range of cultural and heritage experiences to visitors to the Hatta region, and encourage them to explore its history, nature, authentic culture, and its distinguished customs, traditions and capabilities that enhance its position on the tourist map. This comes within the framework of the #DubaiDestinations campaign and within the activities of the second edition of “#HattaHatta” organized by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, under the supervision of the “Supreme Committee for Supervising the Development of the Hatta Region.” This comes after the last edition of the event won the “Best Community Event” award within the “Middle East Events 2025” awards, which is in harmony with the authority’s commitments and responsibilities aimed at achieving the goals of the comprehensive development plan to develop the Hatta region, improve the quality of life there, and enrich its cultural and artistic scene.
Maryam Dhaen Al Tamimi, Acting Director of Heritage Sites Department at Dubai Culture, stressed the authority’s keenness to highlight the cultural heritage of the Hatta region, its historical potential, and enrich its creative scene. She said: “Hatta Cultural Nights is an important space through which the authority seeks to shed light on the region’s ancient history, heritage and authentic culture, and its rich experiences and unique cultural itineraries, which contributes to improving the quality of life in the region and enhancing its position on the tourism map. The event also supports the people and productive families in the region, and enables creative people to develop their economic, commercial and cultural projects and display their products to the public, which is in line with Dubai Culture’s commitments and sectoral priorities.” “Aiming to strengthen national identity, preserve and preserve local heritage and pass it on to future generations.”
The “Hatta Cultural Nights” program, hosted by the Hatta Heritage Village during the period from December 20, 2025 until January 1, 2026, will include a series of heritage activities and artistic performances that reflect the authenticity of the region’s culture, including distinctive folkloric and artistic performances that will be presented by a group of popular bands specialized in war, in addition to sessions for playing the rababa and the oud, entertainment circus performances, soap bubbles and balloons, and a group of interactive workshops, from Among them are the “Heritage Coffee” workshop, the “Star Observatory,” the Creativity Studio, and others.
Throughout the days of the event, which is held in cooperation with the Sama Dubai channel of Dubai Media Incorporated, the media partner of the event, visitors will have an appointment with the “Cinema Exhibition”, through which the channel will display a group of archival materials, programs and old heritage series, which contributes to enabling the public to explore the richness of the local creative scene. They will be able to enjoy a series of poetry evenings organized by the authority, and the agenda also includes a group of heritage competitions.
The Hatta Cultural Nights, which is organized by Dubai Culture as part of the Hatta Hatta initiative, will witness the establishment of an artisan market, which will present displays of traditional handicrafts. The event also includes a popular market to display the creativity of productive families that reflect their connection to local heritage, in addition to a wide variety of products presented by creative talents, allowing them to develop their cultural, artistic and economic projects and display their work to the public, thus contributing to supporting the creative and cultural industries in Dubai.
