The Minister of Youth and Sports witnesses the launch of the eighth edition of the International Forum for Investment and Sports Industry

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the activities of the eighth edition of the International Forum for Sports Investment and Industry, in cooperation with the Arab Sports Marketing and Investment Federation (ASMIA), and with broad participation from major sports and investment institutions and companies from Egypt, the region and the world.

 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, stressed that Egypt’s hosting of this international event reflects the growing confidence in the Egyptian sports market and the unprecedented development in infrastructure it is witnessing. And legislation supporting investment.

 

Explaining that the Ministry is working in accordance with the vision of the Egyptian state to transform sports into an integrated industry that contributes to the national product and provides real job opportunities for young people, while opening broader horizons for international partnerships and transferring global expertise.

 

The Minister added that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is implementing a clear strategy to maximize investment in sports facilities and transform them into productive economic entities, through partnership with the private sector, And offering various investment opportunities within the Ministry’s youth centres, clubs and facilities in various governorates.

 

The forum is considered one of the largest sports investment events in the region, as it brings together more than 3,000 sports companies and institutions, in addition to announcing more than 300 new investment opportunities in various fields of the sports industry, valued at billions of pounds, in addition to signing dozens of strategic agreements aimed at supporting sports and economic development and promoting Sports investment climate.

 

The forum witnesses the participation of major international bodies, including the Global Silk Road Organization, the Chinese Federation for the Sports Supplies Industry, and the European Union, in addition to the presence of Turkish companies specialized in the sports supplies industry, in addition to organizing exhibitions, workshops, and accompanying interactive activities, which contribute to pushing the sports industry towards broader horizons and enhancing Egypt’s position as a regional and international center for investment. Sports.

 

The forum witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation protocols between the Arab Federation and a group of Egyptian and foreign companies.
