Al-Ahly training session…Torop lectures the players…and specialized training in preparation for the Ceramica match
The first football team of Al-Ahly Club continued its training at the club’s stadium in the Nasr City branch, in preparation for facing Ceramica Cleopatra, which is scheduled to bring the two teams together next Friday in the Egyptian Capital Cup.
Jes Torop, the technical director, held a lecture for the players, to explain matters related to preparation for the match, and discussed many of the tactical aspects that the technical staff would like to implement.
The training began with a group of physical exercises, before moving on. In addition to the specialized sections, there was a great focus on the defensive aspects, during which Yassin Marhi, Ashraf Dari, Ahmed Abdeen, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, and Mustafa Al-Ash shone.
The staff conducted a strong ball division to train in many situations, while the goalkeepers went through a variety of exercises within the framework of the program developed by the technical staff.
Ahly is preparing to face Ceramica Cleopatra, which is scheduled to bring the two teams together at eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, on the second Group stage rounds for the Egyptian Capital Cup.
