Guterres calls on America and Venezuela to respect their international obligations

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for restraint and an immediate de-escalation of tensions between the United States and Venezuela.

United Nations Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq told reporters: “Guterres calls on the two countries to respect their obligations under international law, including the United Nations Charter and any other applicable legal framework to protect peace in the region.”
