4 Arab teams participate in the Kings League in Brazil

The Kings League announced the organization of the second edition of the Kings Cup 2026, which will be hosted by the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo during the period from January 3 to 17, with the participation of 20 teams from around the world, including four Arab teams.
The official announcement came during a global press conference via Zoom technology, in the presence of the founder and president of the Kings League, Gerard Pique, along with Brazilian football legends Ronaldo Nazario and Kaka, all of whom were previously crowned FIFA World Cup champions.
Gerard Pique, founder and president of the Kings League, stressed that the Kings Cup for national teams represents a major milestone in the global league calendar, pointing out that organizing the tournament in Brazil gives it an exceptional dimension, especially with the participation of the defending champion on home soil and among its fans, which raises the level of competition and public interaction globally.
Pique also expressed his admiration for the level presented by the Arab teams in the previous edition of the tournament, as well as in the Arab Kings League, stressing that he expects a stronger presence and advanced competition from the Arab teams during the 2026 Kings Cup for the teams.
For his part, Ronaldo Nazario, President of the Kings Cup for National Teams, said, “The Brazilian fans’ passion for football, coupled with the innovative entertainment character of the tournament, constitute an ideal combination for the success of the event,” stressing that the Kings Cup for National Teams is a qualitative addition that complements traditional football and contributes to expanding its fan base around the world.
The Middle East and North Africa region is represented in the tournament by the Saudi national team, the Qatar national team led by the famous YouTuber Abu Falla, along with the Algerian national team led by the influencer Hashemi in his first appearance within the Kings League system, and the Moroccan national team led by Elias Al-Maliki, who returns to participate again.
In addition to the participation of a number of international football stars who represent the “national team leaders”, to support their teams through media appearances and digital interaction, the most prominent of whom are: Robert Lewandowski (Poland), Wesley Sneijder (Netherlands), Arturo Vidal (Chile), Neymar da Silva (Brazil), Sergio Aguero (Argentina), James Rodriguez (Colombia), Miguel Layón (Mexico), and Weston McKennie (America).
The tournament will be held in a group stage system (five groups, each containing four teams), followed by the last chance round, then the knockout rounds with the participation of eight teams. Most of the matches will be held in the Kings League Hall in Brazil, while the final will be held at Allianz Park Stadium in Sao Paulo, which can accommodate more than 40,000 spectators and is considered one of the most prominent sports stadiums in the country.
