Economy, most notably…the United States sets priorities for its presidency of the G20
The United States committed to launching Economic prosperity, providing reliable and affordable energy, and pioneering innovative technologies, during the first event of her presidency For the G20.
Washington launched 4 working groups, 3 of which were to address these priorities, in addition to a team concerned with identifying areas of consensus on trade issues, with the aim of achieving tangible economic results for world leaders.
The United States held a meeting of the G20 preparation teams in Washington during the period from 15 to 16 December of this year, with the participation of representatives of member states, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of major economies.
In addition to Poland, it was a full guest during the year Presidency.
Focus on the economic agenda
The US State Department explained that the United States assumed the presidency of the G20 on December 1, 2025, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of its founding, confirming its intention to refocus on the basic economic agenda.
President Donald Trump is scheduled to host the G20 leaders’ summit in Miami on December 14 and 15, 2026.
