The Muslim Council of Elders participates in the Karachi International Book Fair


KARACHI, 19 December / WAM / The Muslim Council of Elders is participating in a special pavilion in the Karachi International Book Fair, in the Republic of Pakistan, whose activities began yesterday and will continue until 22 December, and is considered one of the most important cultural events in Pakistan and South Asia, in a step that reflects the expansion of the Council’s intellectual presence in international forums, and the strengthening of its role in spreading the culture of peace and dialogue through books and knowledge.
The Council’s pavilion displays more than 250 diverse intellectual publications by Al-Hukamas Publishing in eight different languages, including 12 publications in Urdu, that address contemporary intellectual issues and address current problems facing Islamic and human societies, with a special focus on promoting the culture of dialogue, consolidating the values of Islamic-Islamic dialogue, and spreading a rational understanding of Islam based on moderation and moderation.
The pavilion organizes an integrated cultural and intellectual program that includes a number of seminars and open dialogues, with the participation of academic figures and religious and intellectual leaders, to discuss issues of intercultural dialogue, renew religious discourse, promote the values of tolerance and mutual understanding, and the role of intellectual institutions in supporting stability and peace.
This participation comes based on the mission of the Council of Muslim Elders aimed at promoting peace, consolidating the values of dialogue and tolerance, building bridges of cooperation and human coexistence, and affirming the importance of books and thought as effective tools in confronting contemporary intellectual challenges.
