Al-Fujairah rises to second place… and United regains victories in the first division league

The Fujairah team achieved a valuable victory over its host, the Al-Ettifaq team, with a score of (3-1), in the match that brought them together today, Saturday, in the tenth round of the First Division League, which was held at Shabab Al-Ahli Stadium in Al-Awir, raising Al-Fujairah’s score to 17 points, rising to second place, while Al-Ittifaq’s balance froze at 3 points in last place.
Fujairah’s goals were scored by Frenchman Sander Benbachir in the 12th and 70th minutes, and Abdullah Anwar (44), while Al-Ettifaq’s goal was scored by Dutchman Javan Anderson (85).
In another match, the United team regained the winning tone after defeating Gulf United with a score of (3-1), in the match that was held at the Dubai Sports City Stadium, raising its score to 17 points in third place on goal difference behind Al-Fujairah, while Gulf United remained in ninth place with 13 points.
United’s goals were scored by Ibrahim Otara (24 and 27), and Senegal’s Mustapha Namm (22), while Gulf United’s only goal was scored by Cameroonian John Bosco (45).
Red Island Surprise
In a surprising result, the Al-Jazira Al-Hamra team achieved a valuable victory over its host Al-Hamriyah with an unanswered goal, in the match that was held at Al-Hamriyah Stadium, and the only goal of the match was scored by Ghanaian Joseph Amoah (75).
With this victory, Al-Jazira Al-Hamra raised its score to 11 points in eleventh place, while Al-Hamriyah’s score froze at 14 points in eighth place.
Two draws
Al Orouba tied at home with Hatta, with a score of (1-1), with Mohammed Al Hammadi scoring for the hosts (83), and Nigerian Godinius Agyukwe for Hatta (90+5), raising Hatta’s score to 16 points in fourth place, while Al Orouba’s score reached 10 points in twelfth place.
Al-Dhaid also tied with Majd, with a score of (1-1), in the match that was held at Al-Dhaid Stadium, and Moroccan Adnan Al-Wardi scored for the hosts (51), and for the visitors, Hamdan Al-Menhali (46), raising Al-Dhaid’s score to 15 points in fifth place, while Majd remained in thirteenth place with 5 points.
