“Human Resources and Emiratisation” closes the “Oud Al Reem Office for Recruiting Supportive Workers”

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the issuance of a decision to cancel the license of the “Oud Al Reem Office for Domestic Workers Services”, operating in the Emirate of Ajman in cooperation with the relevant authorities, after monitoring its violation of the obligations and controls specified in the Domestic Workers Law and its executive regulations and the decisions implementing them, and confirming the reality of the violation based on the report of the Ministry’s inspection system, based on the sustainable control procedures that the Ministry applies to Domestic Workers Recruitment offices, the pioneering complaints system, and responding to customer complaints.

The Ministry affirmed in a press statement: “It will not be complacent in applying legal procedures against any office for recruiting domestic workers proven to have committed violations,” noting that legal measures have been taken against the “Oud Al-Reem Office for Domestic Labor Services,” notifying the relevant local authorities of the decision to cancel the license, to take the necessary measures on their part, and obligating the office owners to settle the conditions of their domestic workers, in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations, and to collect the fines resulting from the office’s violations.

The Ministry called on customers to report negative practices and any observations about the work of licensed domestic labor recruitment offices by contacting the call center at 600590000, stressing its keenness to listen to customers’ complaints and address them, as part of its efforts to control and regulate the work of domestic labor recruitment offices, enhance the competitiveness and leadership of the domestic labor market for domestic services, and ensure their commitment to the rules and legislation regulating the labor market, in a way that guarantees the rights of all parties to the contractual relationship, including employers. Recruitment offices and auxiliary service workers.

The Ministry also stressed that business owners must deal with approved and licensed offices, which can be viewed through the Ministry’s website www.mohre.gov.ae, in order to ensure that they are not exposed to legal accountability as a result of dealing with unlicensed people and employing violators, with the exception of health and security risks that may result from the use of unlicensed workers, who are not subject to the Ministry’s approved operating procedures.

In the same context, the Ministry confirmed that the domestic services labor market in the country operates in accordance with the highest standards of governance and competitiveness, provides pioneering services to customers within specific domestic labor service packages, and adheres to the humanitarian standards approved in the Domestic Service Workers Law and its executive regulations, in a way that achieves a balance between the interests of all parties to the labor relationship, including clients, workers, and owners of recruitment offices.

The Ministry praised the commitment of the majority of domestic labor recruitment offices in the country to the approved legislation and laws, and their main role in promoting sustainable economic growth and leadership in the labor market in the country, through the distinguished services they provide to customers, and providing a healthy and safe work environment for their workers.

The Ministry indicated the continued enhancement of the efficiency of domestic labor services by strengthening the regulation of the domestic labor services market, providing all protection requirements for workers, including them in the social protection umbrella, and including domestic labor services within the Ministry’s electronic and smart services package, and the pioneering program for zeroing out bureaucracy, the most recent of which was the launch of the ancillary services package within the “Work Package” services, after the great success it achieved by launching the assistance services package within the “Dubai Now” package and the “Invest in Dubai” package, with the exception of the awareness programs provided by the Ministry. For workers and recruitment agency owners to enhance commitment.

The efforts of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to control, strengthen and comply with domestic labor recruitment offices resulted in violations of 37 domestic labor offices during the first half of 2025, with a total of 107 violations.
