Algeria defeats Sudan by three in the African Nations

Riyad Mahrez led the Algerian national team to achieve a great 3-0 victory over his Sudanese counterpart in the match that was held between them at Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, within the fifth group competitions of the African Cup of Nations.
Mahrez opened the scoring early in the second minute after an organized attack that started from Baghdad Bounedjah and ended with a wonderful backheel touch from Hicham Boudaoui, so Mahrez put the ball into the net.
Mahrez continued his brilliance in the second half when he added the second goal in the 61st minute after a wonderful pass from Mohamed Amin Ammoura. This was the 36th goal for Mahrez, the Saudi Al-Ahly player, with his country’s national team.
In the final minutes, Ibrahim Mazza increased the score by scoring the third goal after a header from Bounedjah, scoring his first international goal with the Algerian national team.
The match witnessed the presence of French football legend Zinedine Zidane in the stands to follow his son Luca Zidane, who excelled as a goalkeeper for Algeria and saved dangerous chances for Sudan.
