Dubai Basketball participates in the qualifying rounds for…"Euroleague 2026" For youth in Abu Dhabi

Dubai, December 26 / WAM / Dubai Basketball Club announced the participation of its under-18 team in the qualifiers for the Adidas NextGen EuroLeague 2026, which will be hosted by Abu Dhabi during the period from February 27 to March 1, 2026, as part of strengthening the club’s presence on the international scene.
The tournament is one of the most prominent European championships for age groups, as it brings together 28 of the best under-18 teams in Europe, competing across 4 qualifying stations to reserve their seats in the finals, which are held in conjunction with the Final Four of the EuroLeague.
The qualifiers in Abu Dhabi are scheduled to witness the participation of an elite group of prestigious clubs from Europe and beyond, most notably Aris Thessaloniki, Monaco, Dubai Basketball, NextGen Abu Dhabi, London Lions, Real Madrid, Valencia Basket, and Zalgiris Kaunas.
The Dubai team’s participation constitutes an important step within the club’s strategy to develop the youth sector, reflecting its commitment to building a professional path that allows young talents in the region the opportunity to compete at the global level.
Erhad Tinga, coach of the Dubai Basketball U-18 team, said that participating in this tournament is an important opportunity to put the Dubai Basketball team on the global basketball map, as it will face the best European teams.
He added: “We are competing in the tournament with a team that has been training and competing inside the country since last August, and although we are one of the smallest participating teams, with 6 players born in 2010, we are confident in our ability to provide a strong performance and compete with all teams at the highest level.”
