The President of the Asian Sailing Federation praises the Asian Cup competitions in Hamriyah

Sharjah, December 27 / WAM / Malav Shroff, President of the Asian Sailing Federation, today praised the competitions of the third day of the Asian Cup of Modern Sailing for Youth, which continues until the 30th of this December, and is organized by the Al Hamriya Cultural and Sports Club in cooperation with the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation at the Al Hamriya International Sailing Centre.

The President of the Asian Confederation praised the efforts of the Al Hamriyah Club in organizing the distinguished Asian Cup by providing an ideal competitive environment for the development of young Asian talents in the sport of sailing. Sharrouf attended the competitions and was received by His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah Hareb, Vice President of the UAE Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, and His Excellency Muhammad Al Obaidli, Secretary-General of the Federation.

Hareb stressed the importance of the UAE in general and Al Hamriyah Club in particular embracing the continental event and the role of this in enhancing the country’s position on the maritime sports map and developing the technical level of the national team players.
