"Ajman Finance" Organizes the Suppliers Forum 2025

Ajman, December 29 / WAM / The Department of Finance in Ajman organized the Suppliers Forum, with the participation of representatives of Ajman government suppliers, with the aim of strengthening partnership and communication with suppliers of government agencies, and reviewing the most prominent developments and services available, in a way that contributes to improving the suppliers’ experience and raising the efficiency of supply in the Emirate of Ajman.
The forum witnessed the launch of the updated version of the “Tawreed” system, in addition to the announcement of a package of qualitative updates aimed at enhancing ease of use and raising levels of transparency.
The updates included developing mechanisms for reviewing and participating in tenders, improving the negotiations interface, in addition to adding an interactive data panel that allows suppliers to follow up on purchase orders, receipts, invoices and contracts, and simplifying the procedures for creating invoices and linking them directly to purchase orders and receipts, which contributes to speeding up procedures and improving their effectiveness.
The forum discussed the role of the Ajman Contact Center in supporting suppliers and facilitating their access to information and services, by responding to inquiries, following up on observations and complaints, and providing multiple communication channels around the clock in Arabic, English and Urdu.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Ajman Department of Finance honored a number of suppliers and government agencies, in appreciation of their active contributions in supporting and developing the “Tawreed” system. The honor included suppliers participating in testing the updates, as well as the distinguished suppliers for the year 2025. The Ajman Contact Center was also honored, in appreciation of its pivotal role in supporting suppliers and facilitating communication with them at various stages of purchasing operations.
The department confirmed that the updates to the “Tawreed” system come as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the government procurement system and enhance digital transformation in the emirate, which contributes to increasing the efficiency of government financial services in accordance with the best practices adopted in this field, and leads to raising the quality of life in the emirate and enhancing its competitiveness, in line with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030.
For his part, Abdul Ghaffar Al Khaja, Director of the Department of Government Accounts at the Department, explained that the meeting comes within the framework of the Department’s commitment to building a fruitful relationship with all suppliers based on trust and transparency in a way that achieves mutual benefit for all parties, and ensures the continuity of existing cooperation in a sustainable manner, to enhance the prosperity of the emirate and sustain its comprehensive development.
He stressed that suppliers play an active role in achieving the goals of the Ajman government and maintaining the quality of its services, so the department is keen to involve them in developing the procurement system in the emirate in order to ensure the smoothness of their work, by always keeping communication channels open to them and adopting advanced digital solutions that contribute to improving their experience.
