“Tenders”: 62 million dinars for the National Council building with two halls for the “Shura” and “Representatives” sessions.

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes of 12 tenders, submitting 61 bids, including a tender to the Ministry of Works for construction work for the National Council project.
The Ministry stated that it wants to build a 4-storey building on an island that was completed in 2011. The building includes a main hall for holding sessions of the National Council, both parts of the Shura and Representatives Councils, as well as two halls for holding sessions of the Shura and Representatives Councils, in addition to a council, a reception hall, a multi-purpose hall, and large meeting rooms.
The Ministry of Works added that the works include a hall with an amphitheater, a library, and a museum. The building also includes administrative offices for the Shura and Representatives Councils, a police station, other service facilities, underground parking, gardens, and outdoor spaces. It received 3 bids, the least of which amounted to 62 million dinars.
For its part, the Electricity and Water Authority intends to implement a project to build new 66 kilovolt electricity transmission stations to meet the growing demand for electrical energy in many regions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it obtained 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 2.5 million dinars.
In another tender, the Department of Public Services and Central Warehouses intends to purchase accessories for street lighting poles, as it received a single bid amounting to 54 thousand dinars.
In a third tender, for the Electricity and Water Authority, the Authority announced that it aims to obtain the best competitive offers to purchase spare parts for GE-Basis substations with an integrated control system. It obtained two bids, the least of which amounted to 48 thousand dinars.
In turn, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development) issued a tender for consulting services for contract management and site supervision for the work of completing the construction of 507 housing units in the Hidd Housing City, for which it received 367 thousand dinars.
On the other hand, the Bahrain International Circuit invites experienced and reputable transportation services companies to submit their offers to provide public transportation services and marshal transportation services to support its operations during Formula 1 racing events and World Endurance Championship events, where it received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 163 thousand dinars.
In turn, Silah Gulf Company launched a tender for health insurance coverage, indicating that the purpose of this tender is to request the submission of offers and select an insurance provider capable of providing an effective health insurance policy for Silah Company employees, in addition to meeting the required service levels that must be maintained throughout the validity period of the policy. It received 3 bids, the lowest bid amounting to 117 thousand dinars.
For its part, the Ministry of Information issued a tender to provide annual maintenance services for the ministry’s electrical storage devices and generators, and received a single bid amounting to 98 thousand dinars.
In turn, “Bapco Exploration and Production” announced a tender to supply a diesel generator, as a source of power generation to supply the facility’s power distribution system with backup power in the event of a main power failure and to avoid interruption of operations. It received 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 381 thousand dinars.
For its part, Bapco Refining Company issued a tender to provide pipes and plates for the RHL burner – inspection and maintenance work in 2026, and received 6 bids, the lowest of which amounted to 53 thousand dinars.
For its part, Bahrain Polytechnic announced a tender for a correction project in several locations on a number of university campuses, where it received 10 bids, the least of which amounted to 26 thousand dinars.
It also invited a second tender, to supply and install barriers at the gates on campuses (A) and (B), where it received 10 bids, the least of which amounted to 17 thousand dinars.
In another tender, the company wanted to supply electrical equipment and supplies, and it received 6 bids, the lowest of which was 3,000 dinars.
