"Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid institutions" The Year of Community 2025 activities conclude

Al Ain, January 1, 2017 – Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Foundations concluded the activities of the Year of Community 2025, under the directives of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Foundations.

This coincides with the conclusion of the “Generations of Knowledge National Winter Program 25”, through the “Gaftna Marifa” event under the slogan “The Northern Wind and a Happy Friday”, emphasizing the consolidation of the values ​​of national identity and the promotion of societal cohesion between generations.

The closing, which was organized at Manazef ​​Park in Al Ain and in cooperation between the Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Generations Association and the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center, witnessed several activities, including reading, heritage, environmental, sports, and artistic activities, which contribute to building a solid national awareness among children and young people, in line with the goals of the General Society in promoting community participation and cultural sustainability.

The event witnessed the presence and support of community partnerships that contributed to enriching the program, with the participation of a number of local entities and institutions, in addition to the participation of an elite group of creative people and those interested in culture and arts. The events also included sections aimed at connecting participants to the national heritage and the local environment.

It is noteworthy that the National Knowledge Generations Winter Program 2025 presented, over the course of two weeks, a package of cultural and entertainment programs and awareness trips.

The “Ghaftna Marifa” event in Manazef ​​Park embodied an authentic image of the Emirati heritage, by reviving ancient lifestyles in a field style that reflects the values ​​of the desert environment and enhances the connection with the country’s cultural and social heritage.

The event also included a group of heritage and sports activities that attracted families and children, and contributed to creating an interactive space with the participation of a number of local community institutions.

Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Foundations, confirmed that these events come as an extension of the message of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, to build conscious generations, committed to their identity, and actively participating in serving society, to draw a qualitative conclusion befitting the spirit of the Year of Society 2025, and to lay the foundation for a more profound and influential start in the Year of the Family 2026.
