Musiala is the first player to return to Bayern Munich training

Jamal Musiala is the first player from the German football team Bayern Munich to return to training today, in the next step of his recovery after a serious leg injury.
Bayern Munich stated that German international Musiala first underwent balance and muscle-strengthening exercises before performing an individual training session on the field.
Musiala, 22 years old, suffered a fracture in his outer leg bone (fibula) and dislocation of his ankle in July during the Club World Cup, following a collision with Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper at the time, Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Musiala returned to participate in parts of the team’s training before the winter break and is expected to get his first minutes on the field sometime this January.
The rest of Bayern’s players will return tomorrow to undergo medical examinations, with the first team starting training on Sunday.
Bayern Munich, the defending champion, is at the top of the German League table, nine points behind its closest rivals, and the second half of the season begins on January 11 against Wolfsburg.
