The “Gaza Ramadan Championship” for veteran players was launched under the auspices of Operation Gallant Knight (3), in a long-awaited sporting spectacle within the framework of a massive sporting celebration at the Nuseirat Services Club Stadium, amid a wide national and sporting presence.

The event received great media resonance and a remarkable public presence, in addition to distinguished media coverage from various journalists and media outlets.

The opening ceremony witnessed a large audience attendance that restored spirit to the stadiums after the absence of sports competitions for more than two years due to the war and difficult conditions witnessed in the Gaza Strip.

The ceremony was a space of hope that restored to the people the atmosphere of events and tournaments that they had missed for a long time. It included an organized presentation by the twenty participating teams, and artistic and patriotic segments that reflected the state of public interaction, in addition to a poignant speech by one of the injured players, in which he reviewed the suffering of athletes during the past period, stressing that sports will remain a message of steadfastness and hope in the face of challenges.
