US President Donald Trump confirmed to Fox News that the US forces that arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday suffered only a few casualties and no deaths.

Trump said that Nicolas Maduro had been transferred to a ship and would be brought to New York.


He added that he followed the live broadcast of the arrest of the Venezuelan president by American special forces, considering that it was closer to a “television program.”

“I literally watched it, as if I was watching a TV show. You should have seen the speed, the violence,” Trump said in a phone interview with Fox News. “We saw every side of it,” he added.
