Attia, Ibrahim and Salah lead Egypt to the quarter-finals of the African Cup

Marwan Attia and Yasser Ibrahim scored for the first time in the history of their participation with the Egyptian national team to win 3-1 over Benin and advance to the quarter-finals in the African Cup of Nations held in Morocco in a match that went to two overtimes and in which Liverpool star Mohamed Salah surpassed his coach Hossam Hassan in the number of matches he played in the continental finals, during which defender Mohamed Hamdy apparently suffered a serious injury in the first half and was taken out on a stretcher crying.
