What did Khaled Issa say about Qemt al-Ain and Shabab Al-Ahly?

Al Ain goalkeeper, Khaled Issa, confirmed that the confrontation that brought together Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahly was not just an ordinary match, but rather constituted a true model of the strength and development of the UAE League, indicating that the competition now has clear technical and competitive weight at the level of the Asian continent.
Issa said in press statements after the match between Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahly, which ended 3-2 with Ainawiyah, today, Friday, in the 22nd round of the league: “What the two teams presented on the field reflects the great level of work in the Emirati clubs, and the league is witnessing continuous development in terms of technical quality, physical readiness, and competitive spirit, which is reflected in such major confrontations.”
The Al Ain goalkeeper added: “The match was a real test for the two teams over the course of 90 minutes, as both sides exchanged control and opportunities, but Al Ain was able, with the strength of its personality and after great effort and high concentration until the last moments, to decide the outcome of the match.”
He pointed out: “Shabab Al-Ahly played a strong match and deserve respect, whether in this confrontation or at the season level in general. The competitor has distinguished elements capable of competing strongly in the AFC Champions League and going far in the tournament.”
Issa spoke about the atmosphere of the match, saying that the match was characterized by intensity, speed, and enthusiasm, with some natural tension between the players as a result of the importance and strength of the confrontation, but he stressed that this remains within the framework of legitimate sporting competition.
He also praised the public attendance from both sides, explaining that the support of the fans, whether from Al Ain supporters or Shabab Al Ahly, gave the match an exceptional character, and contributed to raising the technical rhythm throughout the course of the match.
Regarding the post-victory stage, Issa stressed that the victory over the defending champion and direct competitor gives the team an important morale boost, but at the same time it means nothing without continuing to focus on the upcoming matches.
He said: “The team is heading towards an important confrontation against Al-Bataeh,” stressing that the technical staff stressed the necessity of closing the summit page quickly, not being preoccupied with celebrations, and focusing fully on the upcoming victory.
The Al Ain goalkeeper added: “His club is always accustomed to dealing with pressure due to its history and championships. Al Ain is measured by results and achievements, not just by numbers or periods of possession, and the team’s character appears in big matches.”
