Cooperation between the Financial Supervision Authority in Ajman and the Dubai Center for Economic Security

Ajman, 8 January / WAM / The Ajman Financial Audit Authority signed a cooperation agreement with the Dubai Center for Economic Security to develop the economic security system and exchange experiences in support of combating financial corruption and economic crimes.

The agreement aims to enhance institutional cooperation and exchange of knowledge between the two parties to achieve the highest levels of financial control and protect economic resources.

Areas of cooperation include capacity building and training, coordination of oversight and inspection operations, cooperation in the field of digital systems and financial analysis, policy and legislation development, in addition to awareness campaigns.

His Excellency Shehab Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Financial Audit Authority in Ajman, confirmed that the agreement represents an important step towards consolidating strategic partnerships with government institutions, in a way that enhances the authority’s capabilities and keeps pace with its aspirations in developing the financial oversight system.

For his part, His Excellency Faisal Yousef bin Sulaiteen, CEO of the Dubai Center for Economic Security, explained that this partnership will contribute to supporting professional practices to develop a unified protocol for dealing with complaints and financial investigations, such as cases of suspected corruption or conflicts of interest in the UAE, and will open broader horizons for exchanging experiences and knowledge.

The signing of the cooperation agreement confirms the commitment of both parties to joint work to enhance the principles of good governance and transparency, and to support national efforts aimed at developing the financial and supervisory system in order to achieve the highest standards of efficiency and transparency.
