The Arab Volleyball Federation announces the tournament schedule for 2026

Manama, 8 January / WAM / The Arab Volleyball Federation announced the schedule of tournaments scheduled for 2026, starting next August, with the holding of the 31st Arab Championship for Men and the 21st Women’s Beach Championship in its first round in Egypt, and the second round in November in Morocco.
He confirmed in a statement that Iraq will host the Arab Championship for U-17 national teams born in 2009, and its date will be set at a later date, and Jordan will be granted hosting the first Arab Championship for women’s U-18 national teams born in 2008, and the date of its competitions will be announced later as well, and the 24th championship for men’s national teams will be held in Lebanon next November.
Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Arab Volleyball Federation, said that the New Year’s agenda witnesses various competitions in a number of Arab countries, with the participation of their national teams, pointing to the fruitful cooperation with Arab federations and the exchange of developmental visions, to improve the game system, work to achieve the best rates of competitiveness, and ensure the presence of Arab championships in the international calendar, to improve the classification of teams and players, and to pay attention to and develop championships for age groups.
For his part, Awad Al Mansouri, Assistant Secretary-General of the Emirates Volleyball Federation, stressed support for the efforts of the Arab Federation to develop the game in the Arab world and provide all the elements of its competitiveness, pointing to the UAE Federation’s keenness to cooperate with the Arab Federation in programs for qualifying Emirati administrative and arbitration cadres, to enable them to keep pace with the boom that the game is witnessing.
