المملكة: Urgent: Beginning to disconnect and lift services from buildings at risk of collapse in Al-Ruwais neighborhood in Jeddah.. Tuesday


Declared The Jeddah Governorate Municipality announced that it will begin implementing procedures for disconnecting and lifting services from Buildings at risk of collapse in the Al-Ruwais neighborhood.

This is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety, protect lives and property, and address the conditions of Dilapidated buildings that pose a danger to the population and the urban environment.

The Secretariat explained that the General Administration of Emergency and Crisis had completed the procedures for notifying 1,011 buildings within the first phase, and removal decisions were issued against them by the Buildings at Risk of Collapse, after completing the necessary procedures, and granting the owners the specified statutory deadline before starting implementation.

Completing the removal work

The Secretariat indicated that the work of separating and raising services will be carried out. In coordination with the relevant relevant authorities, in preparation for completing the demolition work according to the approved plan.

The Jeddah Governorate Municipality confirmed its continued efforts in monitoring and treating buildings that pose a threat to public safety in various neighborhoods of the governorate, in line with the goals of improving the urban landscape, improving the quality of life, and achieving a safe and sustainable urban environment.
