"Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism" The period for displaying commissioned works is extended"Abu Dhabi Art" In cultural sites in Al Ain

ABU DHABI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi announced the extension of the period for displaying commissioned artworks for the “Abu Dhabi Art” exhibition until April 26, 2026, which comes within its two annual programs for the year 2025, “Commissioning Artists in Cultural Sites” and “Horizons for Emerging Artists” in the city of Al Ain.

Extending the display period allows the public to visit the works during normal working hours at participating cultural sites throughout Al Ain.

Abu Dhabi-based trio Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, and Hessam Rahmanian, along with Nike Davis-Okundaye and Issam Kerbaj, presented specially commissioned artworks for Al Ain, which were first shown to the public in November 2025 during Abu Dhabi Art, and are currently on display until April 26, 2026.

In parallel with these performances by established artists, artists from the 2025 batch of the “Emerging Artists Horizons” program will also participate with their artwork in Al Ain city during the same period. Commissioned works from Abu Dhabi Art are displayed in six different locations in the city: Al Ain Museum, Al Ain Oasis, Al Jahili Fort, Al Qattara Oasis, Al Hili Archaeological Park, and Jebel Hafeet.

By organizing the Abu Dhabi Art Exhibition, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi confirms its commitment to enhancing, preserving and promoting the country’s cultural heritage.

While the Abu Dhabi Art exhibition concluded last November at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi Art continues to present a comprehensive annual program that includes commissions and exhibitions, with a special focus on educational initiatives and community outreach that extend throughout the year, and beyond the exhibition dates.
