Registration for the 22nd session of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award has been extended to January 31

ABU DHABI, 16 JANUARY / WAM / The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award Office, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the extension of the registration period for participation in the twenty-second session of the award until January 31, in response to the increasing demand from institutions and companies wishing to apply and register, and to provide the opportunity for the largest number of interested parties to participate in the award.
The award is one of the most prominent national initiatives launched by the Abu Dhabi Chamber in 1999 to enhance the positive impact of business on the economy and society.
The award bears the name of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, as an embodiment of the values he established in supporting development, innovation and leadership.
In its current model, the award focuses on measuring the actual impact achieved by participating institutions, whether on the level of economic growth or community development, including supporting corporate competitiveness, stimulating innovation, developing national competencies, and promoting the adoption of modern technologies, which contributes to transforming these achievements into market access opportunities, investor confidence, and building fruitful partnerships.
Participants are being evaluated according to seven main axes that are in line with Abu Dhabi’s economic priorities, including their positive contribution to building human resources, employing technology, community service, supporting excellence in the small and medium enterprises sector, promoting exports, localizing supply chains, and supporting entrepreneurship.
The award adopts an integrated digital registration mechanism, followed by an initial evaluation and then specialized interviews for the short-listed entities, under the supervision of independent evaluators and arbitrators to ensure transparency and impartiality, while participation categories include large companies, family companies, small and medium enterprises, and emerging companies.
The award office called on private sector institutions to take advantage of the extension period and apply for participation, stressing the readiness of the work team to provide support and guidance and answer inquiries related to the registration mechanism and requirements.
